A pattern generator that emulates one particular Jacquard weaving loom at Lanificio Leo, Soveria Mannelli, Calabria/Italy. 


The patterns it produces can actually be weaved as a double-layered fabric (with three wefts) on that loom, using the absolute simplest formal system that I could think of: a vertical line and a horizontal line. It is aesthetically similar to other applications of mine, but written from scratch taking into account the peculiarities of textile production. 


Written in Max/MSP. Screenshots show the front- and backside for each pattern.
